Comprehensive Treatment

Our fees are competitive for private orthodontic practices in southern New Hampshire. In setting the fee for an individual patient’s treatment, the complexity and anticipated duration of the treatment are considered.

Prior to starting treatment, Dr. Caldwell will review the diagnostic findings and describe the proposed steps of treatment, and the office manager will discuss payment plan options and arrangements with you. Our business staff will be happy to respond to your questions and offer assistance at any time during the course of treatment with regard to your account.

Invisalign Treatment

Since orthodontic treatment utilizing Invisalign is often reserved for less complex corrective situations, the overall treatment time is often less than typical braces treatment. Despite the relatively high cost of fabrication of the aligners, the treatment fee is not usually more than the cost for treatment with braces.

Limited Treatment

Individual, single-purpose appliances are sometimes used for specific situations (e.g., space maintainers, headgears, palate expanders, removable appliances). Since these carry far less substantial fees, payment plans are usually not necessary and payment is due when the service is rendered.

Financing Orthodontic Treatment

Once you have decided to start treatment, we will arrange a personal financial agreement for you, requiring an initial payment followed by monthly installments. The initial payment is approximately 25% of the total treatment fee, and the balance of the fee is generally paid in 24 monthly installments.

Insurance

Prior to starting your treatment at our office, our staff will be happy to assist you in determining whether your dental insurance plan covers orthodontic treatment. During treatment, we will continue to assist you in submitting claims to your insurer for your benefits. Any new insurance benefits which you obtain during the treatment can be applied to your account. However, any loss of insurance during treatment will result in a revised payment plan.

Payment Methods

Derry Orthodontics accepts personal checks, Visa, and Mastercard. In addition, some patients may wish to use third-party financing through CareCredit or ChaseHealthAdvance. CareCredit and ChaseHealthAdvance offer several different payment options, with level payments, longer terms, and partial fee financing. Our standard in-office financing agreement is interest free.
